  1. In collaboration with the Trauma and Orthopaedics Clinical Department of the University Hospital in Kraków (manager: Dr. hab. Artur Gądek, Prof. JU: "Aplikacja kliniczna namnażanych in vitro autologicznych chondrocytów w leczeniu choroby zwyrodnieniowej kolan" [English: "Clinical application of autologous chondrocytes in the treatment of osteoarthritis of the knee"].
  2. In collaboration with the Małopolska Centre for the Treatment of Burns and Plastic Surgery of the Ludwik Rydygier Specialist Hospital in Kraków (manager: Dr. hab. Anna Chrapusta: "Zastosowanie hodowli autologicznych keratynocytów skóry ludzkiej w leczeniu oparzeń i chirurgii rekonstrukcyjnej, samodzielnie oraz z użyciem matrycy do regeneracji skóry INTEGRA oraz tłuszczopochodnych komórek mezenchymalnych" [English: "The use of autologous human skin keratinocyte cultures in the treatment of burns and reconstructive surgery, alone and with the use of the INTEGRA skin regeneration matrix and adipose-derived mesenchymal cells"].

    In total, 49 transplants of autologous keratinocytes were prepared in 2018. In total, 58 transplants of autologous keratinocytes were prepared in 2019In total, 144 transplants of autologous keratinocytes were prepared in 2020. In total, 36 transplants of autologous keratinocytes were prepared in 2021.

Polish State Committee for Scientific Research [Komitet Badań Naukowych – KBN] (PBZ-KBN-083/P05/2002). 2003–2005: "Badania nad możliwościami wykorzystania terapeutycznego nie embrionalnych komórek macierzystych u ssaków" [English: "Research into the possibilities of therapeutic use of non-embryonic stem cells in mammals], project leader: Prof. Mariusz Ratajczak.  "Izolacja, charakterystyka oraz ekspansja kliniczna komórek macierzystych naskórka" [English:  "Isolation, characteristics and clinical expansion of epidermal stem cells"], project manager: Dr. Justyna Drukała.
    Within the scope of this project, cells were prepared and transplanted to 11 patients at the Angiology Unit of 2nd Department of Internal Diseases of JU Medical College in Kraków, who were treated for trophic leg ulcers. Cultured cells were also transplanted to 7 patients at the Burns Treatment Department of the JU Medical College University Children's Hospital in Kraków, 1 patient at the West Pomeranian Centre for the Treatment of Severe Burns in Gryfice, 1 patient at the Department of Paediatric Surgery of Katowice-Ligota Hospital – treated for extensive burns; 1 patient at the Clinic of Orthopaedics and Traumatology of the Musculoskeletal System, Medical University of Warsaw – treated for an complex open fracture to the lower limb. In total, 20 treatments were performed.

Period: 2000–2002: "Masowe hodowle komórek skóry ludzkiej w celu przyspieszenia gojenia rozległych ran oparzeniowych i przewlekłych ran troficznych z ograniczeniem bliznowacenia oraz próby rekonstrukcji trójwymiarowej skóry" [English: "Massive cultures of human skin cells to accelerate the healing of extensive burn wounds and chronic trophic wounds with reduced scarring and attempts at three-dimensional skin reconstruction"].     47 keratinocyte transplant treatments were performed, including to 17 patients with burns and 30 patients with trophic leg ulcers (31 patients at the Burns Treatment and Plastic Surgery Department of the Ludwik Rydygier Voivodeship Specialist Hospital in Kraków, 5 patients at the JU Medical College Department of Paediatric Surgery and 2 patients at the Burns Treatment Centre in Siemianowice Śląskie).

    Cultured keratinocytes were used in the treatment of 10 patients.​

Inkubator Innowacyjności 2.0 [Innovation Incubator 2.02], project No.: 13/2019: "Regeneracja ubytków tkanek miękkich przy użyciu macierzy zewnątrzkomórkowej z tkanki tłuszczowej (adipoECM)" [English: "Regeneration of soft tissue defects using the extracellular matrix of adipose tissue (adipoECM)"]. The project covers: the optimisation of methods rapid preparation of adipose tissue, and in vitro and in vivo biocompatibility tests. Manager: Dr. Marcin Piejko MD.
