CELLULAR PRODUCTS

All cellular advanced therapy medicinal products manufactured at the Facility are subject to continuous quality control from the moment the tissue to be processed is received to the release of the finished product. The quality of products is assessed based on an analysis of the following parameters:
  • cell morphology
  • cell viability (as determined by trypan blue exclusion test)
  • sterility of the product.
Each product is supplied with a certificate of quality.

The product consists of autologous keratinocytes (patient's own skin cells) isolated from a skin biopsy and cultured in vitro, which can then be used in the treatment of burns and trophic skin ulcers. In cell culture, keratinocytes are adherent cells and have a typical epithelial cell morphology. During the process, the cultures are passaged to obtain an appropriate number of cells. The end product contains cells from the 2nd or 3rd passage, suspended in a saline solution and placed in immediate packaging with a label.

The product consists of autologous mesenchymal cells isolated from subcutaneous adipose tissue and cultured in vitro, which can then be used in the treatment of wounds and anal fistulas. ASCs are spindle-shaped adherent cells in in vitro culture. Cells between the 2nd and 5th passage are prepared for administration, suspended in a saline solution and placed in immediate packaging with a label.

The product consists of autologous mesenchymal stem cells isolated from bone marrow and cultured in vitro, suspended in a solution for injection (2:1 5% glucose: 0.9% NaCl (v/v)) and placed in immediate packaging with a label. MSCs are spindle-shaped adherent cells in in vitro culture. Cells between the 2nd and 5th passage are prepared for administration.

The product consists of autologous fibroblasts isolated from a skin biopsy, cultured in vitro and suspended in a saline solution and placed in immediate packaging with a label. HSFs can be used in the treatment of burns, trophic skin ulcers and connective tissue damage. In cell culture, fibroblasts are spindle-shaped adherent cells. Cells between the 2nd and 5th passage are prepared for administration.

The product consists of autologous chondrocytes isolated from a biopsy of articular cartilage and cultured in vitro, which can then be used in the treatment of osteoarthritis of the knee. Chondrocytes are adherent cells with a mesenchymal morphology in in vitro culture. Cells between the 1st and 3rd passage are prepared for administration, suspended in a saline solution and placed in immediate packaging with a label.
